VisionMOS awarded HD sporting camera development contract

VisionMOS International Inc has joined in a contract with RiserCam LLC to develop the next generation of HD sporting video camera.
 

Mesa, Arizona – November 15, 2009 – VisionMOS has started development under contract with RiserCam to engineer and produce their next generation video camera product.  The system is a compliment to their industry leading standard definition camera line, and will feature additions of HD video and new methods of interface and control.  The system will be targeted for consumer sporting applications, and available from RiserCam as the OEM.
 

VisionMOS has also entered into an agreement with Zoran for technology and support of their COACH^TM camera processor line for this product.  VisionMOS is one of a few independent design groups with access to this technology to support new product applications.  The agreement enables VisionMOS to build on the COACH^TM processor base and create new intellectual property in software and hardware in support of customers.
 

The contract with RiserCam is expected to conclude with prototypes in 1Q 2010, and aim for production by the end the second quarter.
