CMOS Sensor Image Heads
 

VisionMOS is offering a variety of image heads that support our development kits.  The sensors range from 1.6M to 9M pixel, and come with the passives and power support necessary to operate them.  Each has a common interface to the various development kits for easy interconnect and driver development.

In many cases a software driver is available for selected development kit platforms.  Please contact our team to learn more about what driver is available and how that can assist you in getting your project running quickly. 

The image heads are also sold independent of the development kits, and may assist you in your own imaging application.  Schematics and connection diagrams are available with the image head to enable further electrical connection.

Optics and Mounts

To compliment the Image Head offerings, a variety of optics and holders are available.  These optics include M8, M10, M12 and CCTV / c-mount optics varieties.  A number of FOV, f/# and filtering options are also available.  Typically several optics can be available for a single sensor, to enable you to test view and functions with an individual image head.

The machined plastic threaded mounts and optics are also sold separately.

Serial Communications / Programming Interface

VisionMOS offers a custom interface for our development platforms that assist in communication and programming.  The VM-A010 Serial Interface board enables communication from a standard PC serial interface to the development kits.  Many of the kits are already software enabled to receive commands and provide feedback via this interface to enable machine and PC control.
 

This interface may be suitable for download of provided source code to target platforms with additional software tools.  Contact our team to learn more about how this interface may be a valuable tool when using and developing new applications with VisionMOS development kits.

Cabling Options

VisionMOS offers a number of cabling options that may enhance the various development kits.  These cables can be wiring harnesses to the board connections to full custom interfaces.  Most are available in-stock, and we also offer custom variations.  The intent of the development kits is versatility, and the connections are an extension of this.  The right cable can save you time and provide control from your system.  Please contact our team to learn more about what may work for you.
