Electronics Design and Schematic Capture
 

The VisionMOS team has a long history with development of digital cameras, recorders and multimedia systems.  But our design capability does not stop there.  A complete portable product requires all of the surround systems that go with it, and VisionMOS offers a complete package. 
 

VisionMOS offers unique design services that can include image sensors and optics, displays, power systems, communication interfaces and removable media options.  Typically these are done in a concurrent environment with industrial design and customer requirements to deliver a form-factor product.
 

Design is also done with 2 major factors in mind.  Initial units are prototype worthy, capable of being built locally with local parts on a rapid schedule.  At the same time, the design is transferable to volume manufacturing on-shore or off, depending on volume and time requirements as production of the design warrants.
 

Printed Circuit Board Layout
 

Printed circuit layout is done in-house based on unique electronic designs.  This is typically concurrent with industrial design requirements, and includes a full drawing package in addition to manufacturing files.
 

Board layout services often include multilayer designs with buried via BGA support, and high speed interface compensation.  We can handle very sophisticated high density designs, to prototype and test interfaces that add support with less expense.
 

Integrating our electronics design and layout teams enables VisionMOS to produce a rapid prototype of unique designs, as well as maintain a consistent approach to bill of materials, assembly and testability. 


Industrial Design and 3-D Modeling
 

VisionMOS has an in-house design team with capacity to handle 3-D industrial design of electronic systems and housings.  Typically these designs start with customer requirements, and add features for ergonomics and manufacturability concurrently.  This service may be used to produce measurement or analysis, through a finished product production injection mold or tooling for product housing or interior structures.

Industrial design services may produce 3-D models in stereo lithography or machined single units, and can progress through high volume manufacturing.  VisionMOS has close relationships with all levels of manufacturing services to make the right solutions available as a turnkey delivery.

Industrial design materials can include milled housings from ABS plastic to aluminum and injection molded plastics.
