Bill of Materials Conversion and Procurement

VisionMOS has close relationships with domestic and international component suppliers, and can leverage our expertise to enhance a customer design. This can be a conversion of component for cost, making them lead free, or to drive the design functionality. This is typically done concurrently with a electronic design function. The goal of this service is to provide new materials and BOM for:

Product Prototypes

VisionMOS and our network of partners have the ability to turn your electronic product into a prototype quickly. We use domestic suppliers to create sample quantities from product concept, through the design process, and qualified samples. Where we go from there can include a volume production or a documentation set that enable you to contract ODM firms to transfer the design. Our prototype process includes:

Layout and mechanical documentation

Component procurement and supply chain

Printed circuit fabrication

Board assembly

Electrical testing and programming

Product packaging

The goal of prototypes is to get you samples that meet your functional goals with a minimum of time and difficulty. VisionMOS specializes in new market product developments for small consumer electronics.

Volume Manufacturing

VisionMOS is experienced with volume manufacturing for electronic systems, which can be done domestically or internationally. Our services can include your teams for procurement or management, or be completely run as a turnkey ODM operation. This service will typically manage subcontracted teams and distribution sources, with in-house test development, QA and validation capabilities. We can produce single board systems for integration into larger platforms, or completely finished products that meet your packaging and shipping specifications.

The VisionMOS experience can also work for you in assistance and consulting with customer teams. We can help recommend vendors, component supply, testing methods and other refinements to your existing process. The goal is best quality and price of any product.
