The VisionMOS team brought early imaging biometrics to the market. These systems included fingerprint readers for system security. Team efforts included specific CMOS image sensors & optics, communication systems and identification software.

Industrial applications for small imaging systems expanded to include public service radio systems. The police radio system prototype included automatic fingerprint ID, as well as photo systems to allow radio transmission of images. Prototypes were developed by the VisionMOS team based on existing radio technologies.

VisionMOS has most recently been contracted to provide key developments for industrial imaging applications. One example is a system used for industrial measurement of critical dimensions optically.

The system consists of multiple internal subsystems which allow remote control, user feedback and optical measurement using CMOS image sensors and laser sources. Support for this project to drive it to volume production is ongoing. Our efforts have included:
